About Bare Skin

Shelby Murphy, RN

From our founder

Why we opened Bare Skin

At Bare Skin, we believe confidence starts with healthy, radiant skin. I have spent more than a decade in dermatology and aesthetics, and in that time I have seen how a comprehensive approach to skincare improves not only how skin looks, but how it performs over time. My passion for helping people achieve effortlessly glowing skin is what led me to create a space where every client receives care built around their own concerns rather than a menu. Our goal is to help you feel confident enough to go bare, to reveal the healthiest version of your skin, every day.

This journey has been shaped by the professionals I have worked alongside throughout my career. Opening Bare Skin was not just a professional milestone; it is a future my family is building together. We have created a space that reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and care. We are honored to be part of your skincare journey, and we look forward to helping you get to skin so good it speaks for itself.

How we practice

Four things you can hold us to

Every med spa says it puts clients first. These are the specific commitments that phrase means here.

We'll tell you when the answer is no.

If a treatment won't get you where you want to go, we'll say so, even when it's the more expensive one on the menu. No pressure, no upselling, just honest guidance.

Conservative by default.

We would rather build a result gradually than overcorrect it. The aim is always to enhance what's already there rather than alter it. You should look like yourself, on a very good day.

Plans in phases, not packages.

Skin changes on its own schedule. We sequence treatments so each one has time to do its work, and we would rather start smaller and reassess than sell you a bundle up front.

Clinical judgment first.

Bare Skin is nurse-led and physician-supervised. Every plan starts with skin health, what your skin needs and what it can tolerate before anything cosmetic.

What to expect

Your first visit

Booking with a new provider is a leap of faith. Here is exactly what happens, so it doesn't have to be.

  1. 1

    A real consultation

We look at your skin in good light and listen to what's actually bothering you along with your history, your routine, and your budget.

  2. 2

    An honest assessment

You'll hear what will move the needle, what won't, and what should wait. If something isn't right for you, we'll say that too.

  3. 3

    A plan in phases

You leave with a sequence, a rough timeline, and what it costs written down, so you can think it over on your own time.

  4. 4

    Treatment when you're ready

Some clients start the same day. Others take a few weeks. Either is fine. The plan is yours either way.

Consultations carry no obligation. You are never committed to booking a treatment the same day.

The space

Clinical standards, without the clinic feeling

Medical-grade equipment and private treatment rooms, held to a clinical standard of cleanliness in a space designed to feel calm rather than sterile.

Skin so good it speaks for itself.
