What to expect
How to prep
No self-tanner or significant sun for 4 weeks prior. No waxing, plucking, or threading for 4 weeks prior. Avoid retinol and exfoliants in the area for 5–7 days. Shave within 24 hours of your appointment.
Downtime & healing
Mild redness, warmth, and swelling around the follicles which usually resolves quickly.
Results & sessions
Gradual. Results may begin after the first or second treatment. A series of 6–8 treatments every 4–6 weeks, with maintenance over time, is often recommended. Results vary.
Aftercare & good to know
Avoid heat, sweating, and tight clothing for 48 hours.
